Why work with us ?
Geotechnical Alliance remain commited to executing a global quality policy, which combines global expertise with local resources to meet the total client satisfaction. We provide high-performance geotechnical solutions for all types of structures: diaphragm walls, piles, micropiles, grouting, deep soil mixing.
The Soletanche Bachy Group makes outstanding technical support and operational resources available to our teams. In designing the best solution, our teams can call on experts covering the full range of our techniques. To implement these solutions, our teams can call on human and technical resources appropriate for each project.
Our main techniques
Geotechnical Alliance masters the full range of ground techniques to allow you to build on a solid base.

Micropile
Deep FoundationsMicropile
Micropiles are drilled piles with a diameter less than 300mm and displacement piles with a diameter less than 150mm.
Micropiles are structural members to transfer actions to the ground and may contain bearing elements to transfer direct or indirectly loads and or to limit deformations.

Bored pile
Deep FoundationsBored pile
Bored piles and barrettes are distinguished from each other by their cross sections:
– a circular section is referred to as a pile,
– square sections, rectangular sections, T-sections and L-sections or any other similar configuration are referred to as barrettes.

Barrette
Deep FoundationsBarrette
Bored piles and barrettes are distinguished from each other by their cross sections:
– a circular section is referred to as a pile,
– square sections, rectangular sections, T-sections and L-sections or any other similar configuration are referred to as barrettes.

Continuous Flight Auger Pile
Deep FoundationsContinuous Flight Auger Pile
Structural element placed in the ground to transfer loads and reduce deformation.

Displacement Pile
Deep FoundationsDisplacement Pile
Pile installed by driving, vibration, jacking, screwing or a combination of these methods.

Underpinning
Deep FoundationsUnderpinning
This technique ensures the durability of an existing structure by modifying, reinforcing, replacing or deepening foundations beneath an existing structure.

Diaphragm Wall
Retaining StructuresDiaphragm Wall
A diaphragm wall is a reinforced concrete wall that is cast in sections or panels excavated in the ground. The trench held open during excavation, and installation of reinforcement and concrete by the use of a supporting slurry.

Secant Pile
Retaining StructuresSecant Pile
Secant piles:
+ Can be installed in a tight working area
+ Little noise and vibration
+ Can be installed close to existing foundations

Anchor
Retaining StructuresAnchor
Fields of application:
Supporting excavations – Resisting tensile loads – Pinning – Nailing – Miscellaneous

Colmix
Soil MixingColmix
This technique involves using a single or multiple tool to build Soil Mixing columns. It can be used for ground improvement, cut-off walls and structural applications.

Geomix
Soil MixingGeomix
Process used to create rectangular soil mixing elements using a technology derived from the Hydrofraise®, Cutter Soil Mixing.

Springsol
Soil MixingSpringsol
This technique uses a fixed or opening tool to construct columns using a small diameter drilling rig to improve the soil in-situ.
Safety & Health
Geotechnical Alliance Sdn Bhd upholds proactive involvement from all levels of management, employees and sub-contractors as we strongly believe that Health, Safety and Environment protection is a collective responsibility in our successful completion of all our projects safely.
Safety and Health is at the heart of all our projects, from the tender stage to site execution, via our positive HSE Culture, our safe methods and processes and commitment from all our staff.
As such our top management is committed to ensure:
- HSE accountability is a line responsibility,
- Prevention of injury and ill health while providing a safe place of work,
- Protection of the environment,
- Compliance to all legislation while cooperating with all enforcing authorities,
- Continuous improvement of the OH&S management system.
GASB – an essential factor for the successful safe completion of your projects.

Our environment commitment
To reduce the environmental footprint of our current worksite activities and promote better our existing environmental actions, techniques and solutions to our clients.
- 40% reduction of our direct emissions (scope 1 & 2) by 2030;
- 20% reduction of our indirect emissions (scope 3) by 2030;
- Use low carbon concrete wherever available;
- Minimise waste and maximise recycling / reuse.
